What was narrated concerning praying between the Maghrib and ‘Isha’
باب مَا جَاءَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ
Sunan Ibn Majah, Book of Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them(view book)
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever prays twenty Rak’ah between Maghrib and ‘Isha’, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.’”
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْمَدِينِيُّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ " مَنْ صَلَّى بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ عِشْرِينَ رَكْعَةً بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ " .
Classification
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever prays six Rak’ah after the Maghrib and does not speak evil between them, they will be made equivalent to twelve years’ worship.’”
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَأَبُو عُمَرَ حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي خَثْعَمٍ الْيَمَامِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ " مَنْ صَلَّى سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ لَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ بَيْنَهُنَّ بِسُوءٍ عُدِلَتْ لَهُ عِبَادَةَ اثْنَتَىْ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً " .
