Zuhayr b. Muʿāwiyah > Abū al-Zubayr > Jābir

Saad bin Muadh was hit in his eye and the Prophet ﷺ resolved it with his hand using a pair of tweezers. He said, then it was thrown again and the Prophet ﷺ resolved it a second time. – Sound Chain per Bukhārī and Muslim

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

رُمِيَ سَعْدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ فِي أَكْحَلِهِ فَحَسَمَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِيَدِهِ بِمِشْقَصٍ قَالَ ثُمَّ وَرِمَتْ فَحَسَمَهُ الثَّانِيَةَ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» على شرط البخاري ومسلم – على شرط البخاري ومسلم
