"I saw the Prophet, peace be upon him, in the vision of a dream during midday. He appeared disheveled, with a dark complexion, and had a bottle containing blood with him. So I said, 'O Prophet of Allah, what is this?' He said, 'This is the blood of Al-Husayn and his companions. I have been collecting it since that day.' He then said, 'Let me count that day.' They counted and found that he was killed a day before that." – Sound Chain per Muslim

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَسَدِيُّ ثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ عَمَّارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِيمَا يَرَى النَّائِمُ نِصْفَ النَّهَارِ أَشْعَثَ أَغْبَرَ مَعَهُ قَارُورَةٌ فِيهَا دَمٌ فَقُلْتُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ مَا هَذَا؟ قَالَ هَذَا دَمُ الْحُسَيْنِ وَأَصْحَابِهِ لَمْ أَزَلْ أَلْتَقِطُهُ مُنْذُ الْيَوْمَ قَالَ «فَأُحْصِيَ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمُ فَوَجَدُوهُ قُتِلَ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ بِيَوْمٍ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ على شرط مسلم – على شرط مسلم
