Abū Zakariyyā Yaḥyá b. Muḥammad al-ʿAnbarī > Ibrāhīm b. Abū Ṭālib > Abū Kurayb And Naṣar b. ʿAlī > Abū Aḥmad al-Zubayrī > Sufyān > ʿAṭāʾ b. al-Sāʾib > Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥman > Abū Mūsá al-Ashʿarī

"Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: When Satan wakes up in the morning, he spreads his soldiers and says, 'Who has misguided a Muslim today? I will crown him with a crown.' Then one of them comes and says, 'I have not left him until he disobeys his parents.' Satan replies, 'You have done nothing; he will soon repent.' Then, another one comes and says, 'I have not left him until he divorces his wife.' Satan replies, 'He will soon remarry.' Then, another one comes and says, 'I have not left him until he commits polytheism.' Satan replies, 'You are the one.' Then, another one comes and says, 'I have not left him until he kills.' Satan replies, 'You are the one.' Then, Satan crowns him with the crown." – Sound

أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَنَصَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَا ثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ إِبْلِيسُ بَثَّ جُنُودَهُ فَيَقُولُ مَنْ أَضَلَّ الْيَوْمَ مُسْلِمًا أَلْبَسْتُهُ التَّاجَ فَيَجِيءُ أَحَدُهُمْ فَيَقُولُ لَمْ أَزَلْ بِهِ حَتَّى عَقَّ وَالِدَهُ فَقَالَ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَبَرَّهُ وَيَجِيءُ أَحَدُهُمْ فَيَقُولُ لَمْ أَزَلْ بِهِ حَتَّى طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ فَيَقُولُ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ وَيَجِيءُ أَحَدُهُمْ فَيَقُولُ لَمْ أَزَلْ بِهِ حَتَّى أَشْرَكَ فَيَقُولُ أَنْتَ أَنْتَ وَيَجِيءُ أَحَدُهُمْ فَيَقُولُ لَمْ أَزَلْ بِهِ حَتَّى قَتَلَ فَيَقُولُ أَنْتَ أَنْتَ وَيُلْبِسُهُ التَّاجَ «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» صحيح – صحيح
