The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited two types of sitting and two types of clothing. As for the two types of sitting, one is between shade and sun, and the other is to wrap oneself in a garment that exposes one's private parts. As for the two types of clothing, one is to pray in a garment without wearing it as a turban, and the other is to pray in pants without wearing a cloak over it.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ السَّيَّارِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ ثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ثَنَا أَبُو تُمَيْلَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْمُنِيبِ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَتَكِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَجْلِسَيْنِ وَمَلْبَسَيْنِ فَأَمَّا الْمَجْلِسَانِ بَيْنَ الظِّلِّ وَالشَّمْسِ وَالْمَجْلِسُ الْآخَرُ أَنْ تَحْتَبِيَ فِي ثَوْبٍ يُفْضِيَ إِلَى عَوْرَتِكَ وَالْمَلْبَسَانِ أَحَدُهُمَا أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَلَا تُوَشَّحُ بِهِ وَالْآخَرُ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ فِي سَرَاوِيلَ لَيْسَ عَلَيْكَ رِدَاءٌ
