al-Ḥasan b. Yaʿqūb al-ʿAdl > Yaḥyá b. Abū Ṭālib > ʿAbd al-Wahhāb b. ʿAṭāʾ > Dāwud b. Abū Hind > al-Shaʿbī > Muḥammad b. Ṣafwān > Aṣāb

he caught two rabbits and he could not find a knife with which to slaughter then, so he slaughtered them with Marwah. Then he came to the Prophet and said: "O Mesenger of Allah! I caught two rabbits but I could not find a knife with which to slaughter them, so I slaughtered them with Marwah;l can I eat them?" He said: "Eat (them)." – Sound Chain per Muslim

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ أَنْبَأَ دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ

أَنَّهُ أَصَابَ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَلَمْ يَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً يُذَكِّيهِمَا فَذَبَحَهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي اصْطَدْتُ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً أُذَكِّيهِمَا فَذَكَّيْتُهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ أَفَآكُلُ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ كُلْ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ مَعَ الِاخْتِلَافِ فِيهِ عَلَى الشَّعْبِيِّ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط مسلم – على شرط مسلم
