Abū Naṣr Aḥmad b. Sahl al-Faqīh Bibukhārá > Ṣāliḥ b. Muḥammad b. Ḥabīb al-Ḥāfiẓ > Abū Salamah Yaḥyá b. al-Mughīrah al-Madīnī > ʿAbdullāh b. Nāfiʿ > Abū al-Muthanná Sulaymān b. Yazīd > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is nothing that can bring you closer to Allah Almighty on the Day of Sacrifice than the shedding of blood. It is more beloved to Allah Almighty than the sacrificing of camels, as their meat, hair, and hooves will all be brought on the Day of Resurrection, but the blood will reach Allah Almighty in a place before it reaches the ground. So, purify yourselves with it."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْفَقِيهُ بِبُخَارَى ثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ الْحَافِظُ ثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الْمَدِينِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْمُثَنَّى سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَا تُقُرِّبَ إِلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ بِشَيْءٍ هُوَ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهُ تَعَالَى مِنْ إِهْرَاقِ الدَّمِ وَأَنَّهَا لَتَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِقُرُونِهَا وَأَشْعَارِهَا وَأَظْلَافِهَا وَأَنَّ الدَّمَ لَيَقَعُ مِنَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى بِمَكَانٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقَعَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ فَيَطِيبُوا بِهَا نَفْسًا» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ سليمان واه
