"When the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah have started, do not trim your hair or nails until you have sacrificed your animal. This is an authentic narration from the hadith of Malik, although the summary does not mention it." – Remains Silent

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الدَّقَّاقُ بِهَمْدَانَ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ

«إِذَا دَخَلَ عَشْرُ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ فَلَا تَأْخُذَنَّ مِنْ شَعْرِكَ وَلَا مِنْ أَظْفَارَكَ حَتَّى تُذْبَحُ أُضْحِيَّتِكَ» هَذَا شَاهِدٌ صَحِيحٌ لِحَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ وَإِنْ كَانَ مَوْقُوفًا سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص – سكت عنه
