"So I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he went to ascend to the rock, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ appeared between two shields, but he was unable to climb up to it. So Talhah ibn Ubaidullah sat beneath it, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ got up until he reached it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Talhah has made it obligatory.'" – Sound Chain per Muslim

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ فَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ

فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ حِينَ ذَهَبَ لِيَنْهَضَ إِلَى الصَّخْرَةِ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَدْ ظَاهَرَ بَيْنَ دِرْعَيْنِ فَلَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ يَنْهَضَ إِلَيْهَا فَجَلَسَ طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ تَحْتَهُ فَنَهَضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَتَّى اسْتَوَى عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَوْجَبَ طَلْحَةُ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط مسلم – على شرط مسلم
