Ibrāhīm b. ʿIṣmah > al-Sarī b. Khuzaymah > ʿAbdullāh b. Muḥammad al-Ṣaydalānī > Muḥammad b. Ayyūb > Mūsá b. Ismāʿīl > Ḥammād b. Salamah > Ayyūb > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

The Prophet ﷺ said, "When a slave is given a limit or inherits wealth, he inherits according to the amount that he has been freed, and he is held accountable according to the amount that he has been freed from." – Sound

أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عِصْمَةَ ثنا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْدَلَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ قَالَا ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَصَابَ الْمُكَاتَبُ حَدًّا أَوْ وَرِثَ مِيرَاثًا فَإِنَّهُ يَرِثُ بِقَدْرِ مَا عُتِقَ وَيُقَامُ عَلَيْهِ بِقَدْرِ مَا عُتِقَ مِنْهُ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح – صحيح
