Maymūn b. Isḥāq al-Hāshimī > al-ʿAbbās b. Muḥammad al-Dūrī > ʿAmr b. ʿĀṣim al-Kilābī > Hammām > ʿAbbās al-Jurayrī > ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is obligated to pay a debt of one thousand ounces of silver and pays all of it except for ten, he is a slave. And whoever is obligated to pay a debt of one hundred golden coins and pays all of it except for ten silver coins, he is a slave." – Sound

أَخْبَرَنَا مَيْمُونُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْهَاشِمِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ الْكِلَابِيُّ ثنا هَمَّامٌ عَنْ عَبَّاسٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَيُّمَا مُكَاتَبٍ كُوتِبَ عَلَى أَلْفِ أُوقِيَّةٍ فَأَدَّاهَا إِلَّا عَشَرَةَ أَوَاقٍ فَهُوَ عَبْدٌ وَأَيُّمَا مُكَاتَبٍ كُوتِبَ عَلَى مِائَةِ دِينَارٍ فَأَدَّاهَا إِلَّا عَشَرَةَ دَنَانِيرَ فَهُوَ عَبْدٌ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ صحيح – صحيح
