An Arab man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, teach me something that will enter me into Paradise." He said, "If you shorten your speech, you have already fulfilled the request. Free the captive, help the oppressed, give charity to the poor and extend a hand to one in need." The man said, "Isn't there something more specific?" He said, "Indeed, to free a slave girl, to contribute towards her ransom, to offer a gift to a relative who does not treat you kindly, and to provide sustenance to the hungry. And enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil. And if you cannot endure that, then refrain from speaking anything except what is good." – Sound
