Abū al-Ḥusayn Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. Tamīm al-Ḥanẓalī > ʿAbd al-Malik b. Muḥammad al-Raqāshī > Abū ʿĀṣim > Ibn ʿAjlān > Saʿīd b. Abū Saʿīd al-Maqburī > Abū Hurayrah

The Prophet ﷺ was asked, "Which of the women is the best?" He replied, "The best of women is the one who pleases her husband when he looks at her, obeys him when he commands her, and does not oppose him regarding herself and her wealth."

أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ثنا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَيُّ النِّسَاءِ خَيْرٌ؟ فَقَالَ «خَيْرُ النِّسَاءِ مَنْ تَسَرُّ إِذَا نَظَرَ وَتُطِيعُ إِذَا أَمَرَ وَلَا تُخَالِفُهُ فِي نَفْسِهَا وَمَالِهَا»
