"A caller named 'Ammar' announced on the day of the camel race, and the people had already dispersed: 'Do not harm the wounded, nor kill a sanctuary, and whoever throws down their weapon is safe.' This was difficult for us, and a hadith from a reliable source was narrated on this topic." – Sound

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ثنا شَرِيكٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ ضُبَيْعَةَ الْعَبْسِيِّ قَالَ

نَادَى مُنَادِي عَمَّارٍ يَوْمَ الْجَمَلِ وَقَدْ وَلَّى النَّاسُ «أَلَا لَا يُذَافَّ عَلَى جَرِيحٍ وَلَا يُقْتَلُ مُوَلٍّ وَمَنْ أَلْقَى السِّلَاحَ فَهُوَ آمِنٌ» فَشَقَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْنَا «وَقَدْ رُوِيَ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ حَدِيثٌ مُسْنَدٌ» صحيح – صحيح
