ʿAlī b. ʿĪsá al-Ḥīrī > Musaddad b. Qaṭan > ʿUthmān b. Abū Shaybah > Wakīʿ b. al-Jarrāḥ > Sufyān > ʿĀṣim b. Abū al-Najūd > Zir b. Ḥubaysh > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "On the Day of Judgment, it will be said to the companion of the Quran: 'Recite, rise in status and recite with a melodious voice as you used to recite in the worldly life. Indeed, your rank will be at the very last verse you recite.'"

حَدَّثَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى الْحِيرِيُّ ثنا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ قَطَنٍ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ثنا وَكِيعُ بْنُ الْجَرَّاحِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يُقَالُ لِصَاحِبِ الْقُرْآنِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ اقْرَهْ وَارْقَهْ وَرَتِّلْ كَمَا كُنْتَ تُرَتِّلُ فَإِنَّ مَنْزِلَتَكَ فِي آخِرِ آيَةٍ تَقْرَؤُهَا»
