Mustadrak al-Hakim 1813

Abū Bakr b. Isḥāq al-Faqīh > Abū Muslim > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbd al-Wahhāb al-Ḥajabī > Zakariyyā b. Manẓūr Shaykh from al-Anṣār > ʿAṭṭāf b. Khālid > Hishām b. ʿUrwah from his father > ʿĀʾishah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Precaution does not protect a person from Fate, and supplication benefits from what has descended and what has not descended. And indeed, calamity descends, and supplication intercepts it until the Day of Resurrection."

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدٍ الْوَهَّابِ الْحَجَبِيُّ ثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ مَنْظُورٍ شَيْخٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَّافُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يُغْنِي حَذَرٌ مِنْ قَدَرٍ وَالدُّعَاءُ يَنْفَعُ مِمَّا نَزَلَ وَمِمَّا لَمْ يَنْزِلْ وَإِنَّ الْبَلَاءَ لَيَنْزِلُ فَيَتَلَقَّاهُ الدُّعَاءُ فَيَعْتَلِجَانِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
