Mustadrak al-Hakim 1627

Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Baḥr b. Naṣr > ʿAbdullāh b. Wahb > Ibn Abū al-Zinād from his father > al-Aʿraj > Abū Hurayrah

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Indeed, on every thorny peak of a camel, there is a devil. So, make them familiar with riding, for surely Allah, the Almighty, carries them."

حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ عَلَى كُلِّ ذِرْوَةِ بَعِيرٍ شَيْطَانًا فَامْتَهِنُوهُنَّ بِالرُّكُوبِ فَإِنَّمَا يَحْمِلُ اللَّهُ ﷻ»
