Mustadrak al-Hakim 1283

ʿAbdullāh b. al-Ḥusayn al-Qāḍī Bimarw > al-Ḥārith b. Abū Usāmah > Saʿīd b. ʿĀmir > Muḥammad b. ʿAmr > Abū Salamah > Abū Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to a bedouin, "Has your mother ever experienced the pain of childbirth?" He asked, "What is the pain of childbirth?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "It is a burning sensation between the skin and the flesh." He said, "I have never experienced this before." The Prophet ﷺ then asked, "Have you ever experienced a headache?" He asked, "What is a headache?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "It is a vein that strikes a person in their head." He said, "I have never experienced this before." When the bedouin turned away, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is pleased to look at a man from the people of Hell, let them look at this person."

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْقَاضِي بِمَرْوَ ثنا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لِأَعْرَابِيٍّ «هَلْ أَخَذَتْكَ أُمُّ مِلْدَمٍ قَطُّ؟» قَالَ وَمَا أُمُّ مِلْدَمٍ؟ قَالَ «حَرٌّ بَيْنَ الْجِلْدِ وَاللَّحْمِ» قَالَ مَا وَجَدْتُ هَذَا قَطُّ قَالَ «فَهَلْ أَخَذَكَ الصُّدَاعُ قَطُّ؟» قَالَ وَمَا الصُّدَاعُ؟ قَالَ «عِرْقٌ يَضْرِبُ عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ فِي رَأْسِهِ» قَالَ مَا وَجَدْتُ هَذَا قَطُّ فَلَمَّا وَلَّى قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَلْيَنْظُرْ إِلَى هَذَا» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
