Regarding the hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the prayer of fear, he said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood with a group behind him, and another group behind the group that was behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed seated, all facing the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the takbeer, then the two groups behind him also said the takbeer. He performed the first prostration, and they performed prostration with him while the others remained seated. Then he stood up and they stood up and moved behind him until they were in the position of their companions sitting, and the other group came forward and he prayed a Rak'ah and performed two prostrations, then he made the salaam and the others stayed seated. Then the two groups, one after the other, performed a Rak'ah and two prostrations each."

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَمْدَانَ الْجَلَّابُ بِهَمْدَانَ ثنا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الرَّازِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أَنْبَأَ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْهَادِ حَدَّثَنِي شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي صَلَاةِ الْخَوْفِ قَالَ «قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَطَائِفَةٌ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الطَّائِفَةِ الَّتِي خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قُعُودٌ وُجُوهُهُمْ كُلُّهُمْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَكَبَّرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَكَبَّرَتِ الطَّائِفَتَانِ فَرَكَعَ فَرَكَعَتْ مَعَهُ الطَّائِفَةُ الَّتِي خَلْفَهُ وَالْآخَرُونَ قُعُودٌ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ فَسَجَدُوا أَيْضًا وَالْآخَرُونَ قُعُودٌ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَقَامُوا وَنَكَصُوا خَلْفَهُ حَتَّى كَانُوا مَكَانَ أَصْحَابِهِمْ قُعُودًا وَأَتَتِ الطَّائِفَةُ الْأُخْرَى فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ وَالْآخَرُونَ قُعُودٌ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَقَامَتِ الطَّائِفَتَانِ كِلْتَاهُمَا فَصَلَّوْا لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ رَكْعَةً وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ رَكْعَةً وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ وَقَدِ احْتَجَّا بِجَمِيعِ رُوَاتِهِ غَيْرِ شُرَحْبِيلَ وَهُوَ تَابِعِيٌّ مَدَنِيٌّ غَيْرُ مُتَّهَمٍ
