The translation of the given Arabic phrase is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ supplicated during the prayer for rain and said, 'O Allah, give us abundant rain, refreshing and plentiful, quickly and continuously, good and beneficial, not harmful.' It was only a Friday or something similar until they were given rain at the end of the supplication."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَافِظِ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَدِينِيُّ ثنا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدِ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ السِّمْطِ عَنْ مَرَّةَ بْنِ كَعْبٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ دَعَا فِي الِاسْتِسْقَاءِ فَقَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا مُغِيثًا مَرِيئًا سَرِيعًا غَدَقًا طَبَقًا عَاجِلًا غَيْرَ رَائِثٍ نَافِعًا غَيْرَ ضَارٍّ» فَمَا كَانَتْ إِلَّا جُمُعَةٌ أَوْ نَحْوُهَا حَتَّى سُقُوا آخِرُ كِتَابِ الِاسْتِسْقَاءِ
