The conversation of Yahya ibn Al-Harith
أَمَّا حَدِيثُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ

Yazīd b. al-Haytham al-Qaṭīʿī > Ibrāhīm b. Abū al-Layth > al-Ashjaʿī > Sufyān > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿĪsá > Yaḥyá > Abū al-Ashʿath al-Ṣanʿānī
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever washes and purifies himself, then goes early and sits close to the Imam, listening and being attentive, will have the reward of fasting and praying the whole year for every step he takes."
فَحَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذٍ الْعَدْلُ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ الْقَطِيعِيُّ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي اللَّيْثِ ثنا الْأَشْجَعِيُّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ غَسَلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ غَدَا وَابْتَكَرَ فَجَلَسَ مِنَ الْإِمَامِ قَرِيبًا فَاسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ أَجْرُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامُهَا وَقِيَامُهَا»
