Muslim b. Ibrāhīm > Abān > Yaḥyá > Abū Salamah > ʿUbādah b. al-Ṣāmit

I said, "O Prophet of Allah, the saying of Allah to them is glad tidings in this worldly life." He said, "You asked me about something that no one before you or anyone from my Ummah has asked me about." He said, "It is the righteous vision that a Muslim sees or is shown." – Sound Chain

أَخْبَرَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا قَالَ سَأَلْتَنِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ مَا سَأَلَنِي عَنْهُ أَحَدٌ قَبْلَكَ أَوْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي قَالَ «هِيَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الْمُسْلِمُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ» – إسناده صحيح
