Using Stones for Istinja

Zakariyyā b. ʿAdī > Ibn al-Mubārak > Ibn ʿAjlān > al-Qaʿqāʿ > Abū Ṣāliḥ > Abū Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, "I am to you like a father to a child. I teach you, so do not face the qibla (direction of prayer) or turn your back to it. And if you perform ablution, do not wipe your right hand with it." – Good Chain

حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّمَا أَنَا لَكُمْ مِثْلُ الْوَالِدِ لِلْوَلَدِ أُعَلِّمُكُمْ فَلَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَا تَسْتَدْبِرُوهَا وَإِذَا اسْتَطَبْتَ فَلَا تَسْتَطِبْ بِيَمِينِكَ» – إسناده حسن
