Narrated at-Talabb ibn Tha'labah at-Tamimi:

I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but I did not hear about the prohibition of (eating) insects and little creatures of land.

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا غَالِبُ بْنُ حَجْرَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي مِلْقَامُ بْنُ تَلِبٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ صَحِبْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَلَمْ أَسْمَعْ لِحَشَرَةِ الأَرْضِ تَحْرِيمًا .
