The Daybreak
﷽
The Noble Qur'an وَٱلْفَجْرِ ﴿١﴾ |
English - Sahih International By the dawn(1) |
The Noble Qur'an وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ ﴿٢﴾ |
English - Sahih International And [by] ten nights(2) |
The Noble Qur'an وَٱلشَّفْعِ وَٱلْوَتْرِ ﴿٣﴾ |
English - Sahih International And [by] the even [number] and the odd(3) |
The Noble Qur'an وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَسْرِ ﴿٤﴾ |
English - Sahih International And [by] the night when it passes,(4) |
The Noble Qur'an هَلْ فِى ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمٌ لِّذِى حِجْرٍ ﴿٥﴾ |
English - Sahih International Is there [not] in [all] that an oath [sufficient] for one of perception?(5) |
The Noble Qur'an أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ ﴿٦﴾ |
English - Sahih International Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with 'Aad -(6) |
The Noble Qur'an إِرَمَ ذَاتِ ٱلْعِمَادِ ﴿٧﴾ |
English - Sahih International [With] Iram - who had lofty pillars,(7) |
The Noble Qur'an ٱلَّتِى لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ ﴿٨﴾ |
English - Sahih International The likes of whom had never been created in the land?(8) |
The Noble Qur'an وَثَمُودَ ٱلَّذِينَ جَابُوا۟ ٱلصَّخْرَ بِٱلْوَادِ ﴿٩﴾ |
English - Sahih International And [with] Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley?(9) |
The Noble Qur'an وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِى ٱلْأَوْتَادِ ﴿١٠﴾ |
English - Sahih International And [with] Pharaoh, owner of the stakes? -(10) |
The Noble Qur'an ٱلَّذِينَ طَغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْبِلَٰدِ ﴿١١﴾ |
English - Sahih International [All of] whom oppressed within the lands(11) |
The Noble Qur'an فَأَكْثَرُوا۟ فِيهَا ٱلْفَسَادَ ﴿١٢﴾ |
English - Sahih International And increased therein the corruption.(12) |
The Noble Qur'an فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ ﴿١٣﴾ |
English - Sahih International So your Lord poured upon them a scourge of punishment.(13) |
The Noble Qur'an إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِٱلْمِرْصَادِ ﴿١٤﴾ |
English - Sahih International Indeed, your Lord is in observation.(14) |
The Noble Qur'an فَأَمَّا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ إِذَا مَا ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَأَكْرَمَهُۥ وَنَعَّمَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّىٓ أَكْرَمَنِ ﴿١٥﴾ |
English - Sahih International And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."(15) |
The Noble Qur'an وَأَمَّآ إِذَا مَا ٱبْتَلَىٰهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُۥ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّىٓ أَهَٰنَنِ ﴿١٦﴾ |
English - Sahih International But when He tries him and restricts his provision, he says, "My Lord has humiliated me."(16) |
The Noble Qur'an كَلَّا ۖ بَل لَّا تُكْرِمُونَ ٱلْيَتِيمَ ﴿١٧﴾ |
English - Sahih International No! But you do not honor the orphan(17) |
The Noble Qur'an وَلَا تَحَٰٓضُّونَ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ ﴿١٨﴾ |
English - Sahih International And you do not encourage one another to feed the poor.(18) |
The Noble Qur'an وَتَأْكُلُونَ ٱلتُّرَاثَ أَكْلًا لَّمًّا ﴿١٩﴾ |
English - Sahih International And you consume inheritance, devouring [it] altogether,(19) |
The Noble Qur'an وَتُحِبُّونَ ٱلْمَالَ حُبًّا جَمًّا ﴿٢٠﴾ |
English - Sahih International And you love wealth with immense love.(20) |
The Noble Qur'an كَلَّآ إِذَا دُكَّتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ دَكًّا دَكًّا ﴿٢١﴾ |
English - Sahih International No! When the earth has been leveled - pounded and crushed -(21) |
The Noble Qur'an وَجَآءَ رَبُّكَ وَٱلْمَلَكُ صَفًّا صَفًّا ﴿٢٢﴾ |
English - Sahih International And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank,(22) |
The Noble Qur'an وَجِا۟ىٓءَ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِجَهَنَّمَ ۚ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ ﴿٢٣﴾ |
English - Sahih International And brought [within view], that Day, is Hell - that Day, man will remember, but what good to him will be the remembrance?(23) |
The Noble Qur'an يَقُولُ يَٰلَيْتَنِى قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِى ﴿٢٤﴾ |
English - Sahih International He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."(24) |
The Noble Qur'an فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ ﴿٢٥﴾ |
English - Sahih International So on that Day, none will punish [as severely] as His punishment,(25) |
The Noble Qur'an وَلَا يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ ﴿٢٦﴾ |
English - Sahih International And none will bind [as severely] as His binding [of the evildoers].(26) |
The Noble Qur'an يَٰٓأَيَّتُهَا ٱلنَّفْسُ ٱلْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ ﴿٢٧﴾ |
English - Sahih International [To the righteous it will be said], "O reassured soul,(27) |
The Noble Qur'an ٱرْجِعِىٓ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَّرْضِيَّةً ﴿٢٨﴾ |
English - Sahih International Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him],(28) |
The Noble Qur'an فَٱدْخُلِى فِى عِبَٰدِى ﴿٢٩﴾ |
English - Sahih International And enter among My [righteous] servants(29) |
The Noble Qur'an وَٱدْخُلِى جَنَّتِى ع ﴿٣٠﴾ |
English - Sahih International And enter My Paradise."(30) |
