Abū Muḥammad ʿAbdullāh b. Isḥāq al-ʿAdl> ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Muʿāwiyah al-Qurashī > ʿAbdullāh b. Bakr al-Sahmī > Ḥātim b. Abū Ṣaghīrah > Abū Balj > ʿAmr b. Maymūn > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no person on Earth who says, 'There is no deity except Allah, Allah is the Greatest, Glory be to Allah, Praise be to Allah, and there is no power or strength except with Allah,' except that his sins will be forgiven, even if they are as abundant as the foam of the sea." This was narrated by Shu'bah from Abi Balj Yahya ibn Abi Sulaim, and he narrated it standing.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ السَّهْمِيُّ ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَلْجٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ رَجُلٌ يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ إِلَّا كُفِّرَتْ عَنْهُ ذُنُوبُهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي بَلْجٍ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ فَأَوْقَفَهُ

Abū Bakr b. Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. Bālawayh > Muʿādh b. al-Muthanná al-ʿAnbarī > Sayf b. Miskīn > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. ʿAbdullāh al-Masʿūdī > al-Ḥasan b. Saʿd > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. ʿAbdullāh b. Masʿūd from his father

From the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "You should consume cow's milk, its fat, and avoid its meat, for its milk and fat are a remedy and healing, but its meat is a disease."

حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ثَنَا سَيْفُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِأَلْبَانِ الْبَقَرِ وَسُمْنَانِهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَلُحُومَهَا فَإِنَّ أَلْبَانَهَا وَسُمْنَانُهَا دَوَاءٌ وَشِفَاءٌ وَلُحُومُهَا دَاءٌ»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ

Narrated Abu Huraira:

While we were sitting with the Prophet Surat Al-Jumu'a was revealed to him, and when the Verse, "And He (Allah) has sent him (Muhammad) also to other (Muslims).....' (62.3) was recited by the Prophet, I said, "Who are they, O Allah's Apostle?" The Prophet did not reply till I repeated my question thrice. At that time, Salman Al-Farisi was with us. So Allah's Apostle put his hand on Salman, saying, "If Faith were at (the place of) Ath-Thuraiya (pleiades, the highest star), even then (some men or man from these people (i.e. Salman's folk) would attain it."

حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْغَيْثِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، رضى الله عنه قَالَ كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيْهِ سُورَةُ الْجُمُعَةِ وَآخَرِينَ مِنْهُمْ لَمَّا يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ قَالَ قُلْتُ مَنْ هُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَلَمْ يُرَاجِعْهُ حَتَّى سَأَلَ ثَلاَثًا، وَفِينَا سَلْمَانُ الْفَارِسِيُّ، وَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَدَهُ عَلَى سَلْمَانَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " لَوْ كَانَ الإِيمَانُ عِنْدَ الثُّرَيَّا لَنَالَهُ رِجَالٌ ـ أَوْ رَجُلٌ ـ مِنْ هَؤُلاَءِ ".
